VaHi Restaurants Named Some Of Atlanta's Dog-Friendliest Patios

ATLANTA -- With spring in full swing and summer not far ahead, pets and people alike are heading to local restaurants and bars with Fido in tow. Restaurants are brushing off their patios and opening them up to customers to enjoy their meals in the fresh air. A number of them are welcoming furry friends onto their patios to enjoy a meal beside their human companions or to just kick back with a bowl of water.

Eater Atlanta has named these Virginia Highland restaurants as having some of Atlanta's most dog-friendly patios.

Neighbor's Pub, 752 North Highland Avenue

• "Neighbor’s in Virginia-Highland includes a pet-friendly patio where dogs can enjoy some relaxing, outdoor time with their owners day or night. On those hot Atlanta days, plop down at a table under the covered area or keep cool near one of the many fans."

The Poncey Highland, 640 North Highland Avenue

• "This quaint cafe and coffee shop, named for the neighborhood in which it resides, includes a small, open air patio and a covered patio for sipping coffee and nibbling on waffles or sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Dogs can rest on the cool concrete in the covered area or find shade outside under the canopy of the large trees surrounding the property."

Hampton & Hudson, 299 N Highland Ave NE
