Weekend Planner: Plants, Yard Sale, Stories and More

Here's a list of things going on this weekend in and around the Virginia Highland-Druid Hills area:

1. Fall Plant Sale at Fernbank Science Center: Saturday. Over 200 varieties of trees, shrubs, and flowering perennials will be available for purchase. Many of the plants are native species that are difficult to find elsewhere!
2. Druid Hills Yard Sale: Saturday. We are delighted to announce that our neighborhood yard sale is back by popular demand! The sale is an easy way to get rid of your unwanted stuff and keep all the money you make.
3. Stories among the Stars: Saturday. Fernbank Science Center and the Southern Order of Storytellers collaborate on Stories Among the Stars, a fund-raising event marking the autumnal equinox.
4. Film Screening: The Muppet Movie Sing-Along: Saturday. Join us for a special interactive "sing-along" screening hosted by Heather Henson as part of the Center's 35th Anniversary Weekend Celebration!
5. Music Midtown 2013 | September 20 & 21: Saturday and Sunday. Atlanta’s music festival is back with the addition of a third stage, more attractions and an enhanced VIP experience.
