Weekender: Tasty Treats At Community Garden Fundraiser
Other stuff to do this weekend in and around Virginia Highland and Druid Hills: Live music at several clubs, a pub crawl to fight cancer, Dog Daze at Diesel and a crash course in quail-keeping.

1. Fundraiser for Nickel Bottom Community Garden. Anne Quatrano of Floataway Cafe, Bacchanalia, Star Provisions and Abattoir prepares a gourmet picnic basket, with proceeds going to maintain the garden. 1 p.m. Sunday at the FloatAway Community, 1123 Zonolite Road NE. $99.
2. Live music. Chris Ricker performs Friday and Saturday at Limerick Junction. Sandra Hall and the Shadows play Friday at Bllind Willie's, Luther "Houserocker" Johnson on Saturday. Along for the Ride plays Saturday at the Family Dog.

3. Crawl for Cancer. This Saturday night fundraising pub crawl will hit Limerick Junction, Atkins Park Tavern and a few other spots in Virginia Highland. Proceeds go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
4. Dog Daze. You and your pooches can enjoy dog-themed contests, raffles, exhibitions, treats and toys at 1 p.m. Sunday at Diesel Filling Station at 870 N. Highland Ave. NE. It's part of Atlanta Streets Alive.

5. Intro to Keeping Quail. Learn the basics about raising these birds in your backyard. 10 a.m. Saturday at the Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center at 435 Oakview Road, Decatur. $20.
