Will Jittery Joe's Move Into Aurora Coffee in VaHi?
The Athens-based coffee shop chain may take over the now-closed shop on North Highland.

The much-loved Aurora Coffee in Virginia Highland closed its doors on Tuesday, but now there's talk about who will take over the space.
Eater reports that Jittery Joes may move in. The website reported,
The Jittery Joe's will be operated by the people behind another Athens-based local coffee shop, Hendershot's, but the lease is still being negotiated. In March, Hendershot's got notice that they had until June 30 to leave their current Athens space due to a parking/leasing dispute.

Aurora Coffee had operated out of the building at 992 N. Highland Ave. NE more than 20 years. The Aurora shop at 468 Moreland Ave. in Little Five Points will not close.
Virginia Highland lost another coffee shop when Steady Hand Pour House shut its doors last month. The shop is located, at least temporarily, in the Iberian Pig in Decatur.
