Driver Ejected, Killed In West Cobb Crash
Cobb police say the 21-year-old driver of a truck ignored an automatic signal and entered into the path of a BMW.

POWDER SPRINGS, GA -- The 21-year-old driver of a pickup truck died early Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision in west Cobb County. Cobb County police were dispatched around 12:31 a.m. Oct. 27 to the scene of the accident on Lost Mountain Road at Bullard Road near Powder Springs.
A preliminary report released by the Cobb County Police Department notes a white 2013 BMW 528 was traveling northbound on Lost Mountain while a white 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was going eastbound on Bullard Road.
Traffic investigators believe that the driver of the truck, identified as 21-year-old Fernando Hernandez of Powder Springs, "disregarded the automatic signal and entered into the path of the BMW," Cobb police said.
