Mark Richt Offers Powder Springs QB a Scholarship

Harrison Bailey has been offered a chance to play football for the University of Miami.

POWDER SPRINGS, GA -- A Powder Springs 8th grader has been offered a scholarship to the University of Miami.

Harrison Bailey, who will play for Hillgrove High next year, received the offer from new Miami head coach Mark Richt, according to SportingNews.com.

Bailey is 6-3 and 175 pounds, and has a highlight reel showing some impressive play.

The former UGA football coach told Bailey that offering a scholarship to a player so early in his career was unusual, “but you’re talented and we think you can handle it. We don’t think you’ll get a big head and we want to offer you a scholarship.”
