Powder Springs Boy Will Be Atlanta Hawks' Sixth Man
Suffering from bacterial meningitis, 11-year-old Raynel Garnell-Lopez will get the thrill of a lifetime Tuesday night.

Raynel Granell-Lopez, 11, who has been suffering from bacterial meningitis since he was 4, will be a special guest at the Atlanta Hawks game on Tuesday night.
Raynel, of Powder Springs, will be participating as the sixth man in the team's starting lineup, reports Fox 5 Atlanta.
Raynel is also one of Bert's Big Adventure kids, an organization that provides an all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.

His adventure begins with a VIP experience Tuesday afternoon that includes a private basketball experience with some of the Hawks' players and coaches.
Then comes courtside access to the team's shoot-around before the game, an introduction to the whole team, and then seats to the game in a private suite.
