Powder Springs Residents Among North Georgia Grads

About 1,278 students received degrees from the University of North Georgia.

Nearly 1,300 people recently received degrees from the state's seventh-largest university, and a number of them were from the Powder Springs area.

According to the University of North Georgia, the following students from Powder Springs graduated during ceremonies held May 4-12:

  • Cara Edwina Cunningham, Powder Springs, BA, English/ Writing & Publication Concentration
  • Courtney Deanne Mitchell, Powder Springs, BS, Political Science
  • Jennifer Allison Johnson, Powder Springs, ASN, Nursing
  • Mariah O’Brien, Powder Springs, BS, Middle Grades Education
  • Tyler Joseph Crockett, Powder Springs, BA, Modern Languages/Chinese Concentration
