Warrant: Man Steals Jewelry from Comatose Woman
The jewelry was recovered at The Drop Shop Emporium in Powder Springs.

A Powder Springs resident allegedly stole jewelry from the home of a woman as she lay comatose in a local hospital.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jessie Fisher on a charge of theft by receiving.
On June 25, a neighbor of the woman called police to report a burglary at a home in the 3100 block of Pinto Drive, according to the warrant. She had been asked to check on the home while the woman was in the hospital.
Fisher is accused of taking a pair of long, straight gold earrings, a gold charm with diamonds, and a gold tennis bracelet with diamonds, according to the Cobb County arrest warrant, which was issued on July 3.
The stolen property along with other jewelry was located at The Drop Shop Emporium at 2110 New Macland Rd., according to the warrant.
Attached to the receipt was Fisher's driver's license, police said. Fisher is wanted on a charge of theft by receiving.
