West Cobb Parents Arrested for Allegedly Letting 8 Kids Live in Horrific Conditions

Police claim the home was awash in sewage, waste matter, rotting food, and trash.

A couple is being held on $40,000 bail each for allegedly letting eight children live in hazardous and deplorable conditions inside a West Cobb home.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Stephen and Loni Tavizon let the children, who are aged between 2 and 13 years old, live among broken water pipes, rotting food, animal and human waste, a garage filled with garbage bags, and soiled mattresses. The Tavizon’s home is located in the 1100 block of Woodleigh Road, just off of Callaway Road.

Each of the Tavizons were arrested on Oct. 4 and face eight charges each of first-degree cruelty to children, Cobb County jail records report. Stephen Tavizon faces two additional charges of contributing to the deprivation of a minor.

The AJC reports that Stephen Tavizon is the biological father of two of the children, while Lori Tavizon gave birth to all eight children inside the home.
