Seven deputies were recognized at Tuesday’s Cherokee County Commission meeting at the Bluffs for going above and beyond their everyday service to the community.
Deputy Bruce Holcombe received a Life Saving Award. Sergeants Todd Shinall and Casey McLeod, Corporal Lee Stewart and Deputies Justin Carder, Sean Obrien, and Mark Patterson all received Commendation Awards.
Sheriff Roger Garrison presented the deputies the awards in front the Cherokee County Commissioners and the public attending the meeting.
