The Service League of Cherokee County recently raised $50,000 in its annual Dancing With The Stars Fundraiser.
That amount is the most the League's annual ball has ever brought in.
"We are so grateful to the fundraising efforts of our dancers and their supporters, everyone who attended or donated toward the cause, and all of our sponsors, said Publicity Chair April Turner. "The efforts of our entire community made this possible, and hundreds and hundreds of children here in Cherokee County will reap the benefits through much needed assistance in medical/dental/vision, scholarships, and so much more."
