Escape the house and pick out a pumpkin this fall while your family enjoys the fun Woodstock pumpkin patches have to offer.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Along with crisp air and turning leaves, a fall tradition for many families is a visit to a local pumpkin patch. And while the coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has caused some of the region’s pumpkin patches to modify how they operate, quite a few will be open this fall. We have hours, attractions and activities as the pumpkin-picking season ramps up.
In many cases, coronavirus precautions have merely changed — not shut down — area pumpkin patches and their entertainment options. Below is a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches near Woodstock.

- Address: 2100 Sugar Pike Road, Woodstock
- Season opening/closing dates: Opens Sept. 26 and every weekend in October
- Attractions: Pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animals and snacks available.
- Hours: noon to 6 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays
- Pricing: Free admission and parking. Hayrides: $4 per person (15-20 min long). Corn Maze: $4. Face painting times may vary

- Name: Berry Patch Farms
- Address: 786 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock
- Attractions: Pumpkins for sale, hayride, farm animals, fall favorites including apple cider and pie available. Gourds, mini pumpkins, Indian corn, jams, jellies and dressings all available for purchase.
- Hours: Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends in October from Oct. 3-25. Open weekdays for the public from 3-6 p.m. from Oct. 14-30
