Car Seat Checkup Event Set For Saturday In Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Safe Kids Cherokee County is hosting a car seat inspection event from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday at the Walmart in Woodstock, 6435 Bells Ferry Road.

The event is first come, first served. Car seats will be inspected by nationally certified technicians who can show you the proper way to install car seats. Eight out of 10 car seats are installed incorrectly and many of these mistakes can be fatal to a child in the event of a crash.
