Chattahoochee Gold Swimmer Bound For Gannon University
Chattahoochee Gold is one of the first teams in the nation to be awarded USA Swimming's Level 4 status.

Chattahoochee Gold swimmer Seth Johnson has chosen Erie, Pennsylvania's Gannon University to continue his exemplary athletic & academic careers. He's committed to the school, starting next fall.
Seth has trained with Gold at the Cumming Aquatic Center for the past five years. His coach, Andy Eaton says, “When he came to our team, Seth was but a simple Wisconsin distance swimming cheese head. It’s been fulfilling watching him transform into a peach state powerhouse of size, speed, and strength." Says Seth, "I love it, that's a perfect description...he summed it up perfectly!"
Seth says his proudest achievement with Gold was making the year round swim club's Nationals group (competing against the best swimmers in the country), having been his goal for years.

Gannon University was Seth's pick because it offered his major (political science or religious studies) and he'll get to swim and play water polo at the collegiate level, "I also loved the team, coaches and environment." He says the school picked him, "because I would be able to hopefully score points at their conference championship meet, and I have a lot of potential, so in the years I'm there I could be a big asset."
Coach Eaton laments, "We'll miss the big guy."
