Cherokee School District Cancels Classes For Tuesday, Jan. 10

Road conditions remain hazardous in shaded areas throughout the county as well as on several district properties.

CANTON, GA -- It looks like students in the Cherokee County School District will have another day off from school on Tuesday.

Superintendent Dr. Brian Hightower has cancelled school for students and staff members for Jan. 10, the system said late Monday afternoon.

The decision was "based upon continued, current hazardous road conditions in shaded areas" throughout the county as well as on multiple school district properties, the district added.
