WOODSTOCK, GA -- Woodstock residents who'd like to try their hand at gardening can sign up for their opportunity to try out their green thumbs.

The city of Woodstock on April 1 opened registration for its Community Garden, which is located on Dobbs Road just east of Chattahoochee Technical College.
The April 1 date is for city residents only; non-city residents will have a chance to register starting April 15 for any remaining plots.

The garden has twenty-four 20' x 20' plots and eighteen 10' x 10' plots. Registration is held each spring, and existing plot renters have first priority to keep their plot for the next year. Annual registration fees are $50 for the larger plots and $25 for the smaller ones.
