Deadline For Toys For Tots Approaching, Donate Now
Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services is reminding the public that the deadline for this year's toy campaign is approaching.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services is reminding the public that Friday, Dec. 13, is the last day to make donations for their Toys for Tots campaign this year.
You can bring new, unwrapped toys to any Cherokee County Fire Station to donate, or at the Fire Headquarters Office at 150 Chattin Dr. in Canton.
The Atlanta Toys for Tots Campaign supports 17 counties in the area, a release from the department said, including Cherokee. All toys will stay in their respective counties.

"Please remember this charity when you are out shopping this holiday season and help them fill all the requests this year!" the release says.
The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program has been working for 60 years to bring "a message of hope to less fortunate children through the simple act of providing a new toy," the release says.
