Driver Injured After Car Hits Median, Overturns In Woodstock
The driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

WOODSTOCK, GA — A Woodstock man was injured Friday afternoon when his vehicle overturned on Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock.
The driver was traveling westbound on Towne Lake Parkway when the vehicle struck a median, which caused the car to flip and land in the eastbound lanes of the road at Fairway Drive, said Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jay Baker.
No other passengers were inside the vehicle, and no other cars were involved in the crash. The driver, a 37-year-old Woodstock man, was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment of "what appears to be non life threatening injuries," Baker added.

His identity has not been released, and there were no obvious signs of impairment at the scene, Baker said.
No cause of the accident has been determined, investigators with the CSO Traffic Enforcement Unit are investigating the collision. Return to Patch for updates.
