Drop Box Available For Absentee Ballots In Woodstock
Secure drop boxes in Woodstock are an alternative to returning a completed absentee ballot by mail for the November election.

WOODSTOCK, GA — A secure drop-off box is an option for returning absentee ballots for Woodstock voters during the early voting period.
Ballot boxes can be found in and near Woodstock at:
- 400 East Main St., Canton
- 2782 Marietta Highway, Suite 100, in Canton
- 7545 Main St. in Woodstock at the South Cherokee Annex Recreation Center
The Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration office has added an additional Absentee Ballot drop box at the former Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration office located at 400 East Main St. in downtown Canton.

The locations are monitored by video cameras for security and are available 24 hours a day.
The Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration office will open several locations this October for residents to vote ahead of Election Day.

Early voting at all three locations will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 12-23, at:
- Cherokee County Elections Office, 2782 Marietta Highway, Suite 100, in Canton
- Former Cherokee County Elections Office, 400 East Main St., in Canton
- South Cherokee Annex Building, 7545 Main St., in Woodstock
The Elections Office relocated to the Marietta Highway location in late August.
Saturday voting is set for 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Oct. 24 at:
- Cherokee County Elections Office, 2782 Marietta Highway, Suite 100, in Canton
- Former Cherokee County Elections Office, 400 East Main St., in Canton
- South Cherokee Annex Building, 7545 Main St., in Woodstock
- Hickory Flat Library, 2740 East Cherokee Drive in Canton
- Ball Ground Public Library, 435 Old Canton Road in Ball Ground
- Rose Creek Public Library, 4476 Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock
Starting Oct. 26, advance voting will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Oct. 30 at all six locations above.
There will be no voting Monday, Nov. 2.
