Gold Swimmer is Bound for Berry College

Chattahoochee Gold swimmer Becca Fulle has committed to swim and study at Berry College near Rome, Georgia. “I picked Berry College because it was super beautiful and they have one of the best pre-vet programs in Georgia. I also really loved how outdoors the college is and all the fun hiking opportunities they have.” With 27,000 acres of forest & meadows that includes 100 miles of trails, Berry is said to have the world’s largest college campus.

Becca has competed for the Woodstock-based club team Chattahoochee Gold for five years. "My proudest achievements for swimming on Gold would be achieving the goal I set for myself at the beginning of the season...I wanted to get my 100 Free time down to a 1:04 and throughout the season I made changes to my stroke and saw a difference in my times and then achieved my goal at the March Madness meet."

Becca says, "I don’t think Berry College chose me for their swim team because I’m crazy fast, but because they could tell how dedicated I am to swimming. When I initially contacted the coach I made it very clear that I was determined to swim in college because I wanted to keep improving. I like being a competitive swimmer because it really motivates me to want to achieve faster times.”
