Five athletes have qualified to compete in the swim trials.

With the U.S Olympic Swim Trials just over a month away, Chattahoochee Gold swim club has 5 athletes who have qualified to compete and two others very close with several opportunities before June 26th to qualify.
The swimmers already qualified are Lauren Case, Alarii Levreault-Lopez, Emma Cole, Michael Arnold and Lisa Arnold.
All eyes will be on Lauren Case, this is her second trials meet and this time around she’ll be gunning to make the magical top 16 to qualify for second swims.

At the trials four years ago, Michael Arnold was 17th in the 50 Free, missing making the final by one spot. Since then he has trained (while holding down a full time job and life outside the pool) to continue his Olympic quest.
Lisa Arnold is Michael’s wife and she’ll be making her second trip to Olympic Trials as well. Her first was in 2008. Lisa was an All American at UGA and has trained alongside Michael the last few years. She is butterfly specialist.
Gold’s Lexi Glunn and Jaclyn Hill are each less than a second off qualifying times for the trials and both have more chances to qualify.
The U.S. Olympic trials take place at the Century Link Center in Omaha and run from June 26th to July 23rd. Evening portions of the meet will be broadcast live on NBC.
