Gold's Jenna MacKay Commits to Wingate

Wingate University has won the South Atlantic Conference Echols Athletic Excellence Award for the past 11 years.

Chattahoochee Gold's Jenna MacKay says she'll attend Wingate University in North Carolina beginning in the fall of 2018.

Jenna trains with Gold, a year-round swim club, at the Cumming Aquatic Center. She also swims for the West Forsyth High Wolverines where earlier this year she finished 13th in 50 Freestyle at the GHSA 6-7 A State Meet.

Jenna says she chose Wingate, "Because it’s an incredible opportunity to go to a school with such great swim and academic programs for me." At Wingate, she'll join former Gold teammate Kelley Jones, who is a freshman.
