Guns And Hoses 5K To Close Traffic
The annual Guns and Hoses 5k road race will affect traffic around Hobgood Park on Towne Lake Parkway.
From Cherokee County Development Services: Please be advised that the Cherokee County Development Services has approved the annual Guns and Hoses 5k road race which will be held this Saturday, February 23rd, from approximately 7:15am – 9:15am. The 5K will likely affect the traffic in the area around Hobgood Park on Towne Lake Parkway.
Westbound traffic will be closed on Towne Lake Parkway at Rose Creek Drive to Bells Ferry Road and detoured onto Rose Creek Drive, and Wyngate Parkway will be closed to both directions of travel from Watkins Glen Drive to Towne Lake Parkway. Please make plans to avoid the area as traffic will not be allowed into the affected area during these times. We can assure you that all of the roads will be opened as quickly as practical. We appreciate your patience during this time.
