A Cherokee County School District teacher is in the running to win money, an ice cream party and a scholarship to continue her education.Â
Arnold Mill Elementary School first-grade teacher Kimberly Campbell is in the top 10 for the Star Choice Award competition sponsored by Georgia United Credit Union and STAR 94 Radio.
Campbell was selected from more than 400 nominees and now is vying for votes to win prizes.Â

The top five vote-getters from the 10 finalists will win a $500 cash prize and ice cream sundae party for his or her class.Â
The top vote-getter also will win a $2,000 scholarship toward his or her continuing education.

Anyone can vote for Ms. Campbell online via the websiteVotes must be cast by May 3.
