'Hustle For Heroes' Raises Money For Woodstock Fire, Police Initiatives
The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation's Hustle For Heroes 5K will raise money for various initiatives coordinated by the Woodstock Fire and Police Departments.

The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation will venture into the world of sponsoring races to raise money for its causes.
The Hustle For Heroes 5K Run/Walk & Kid's Fun Run is set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday May 18 at First Baptist Church of Woodstock.
The organization is sponsoring the event along with the Woodstock Fire and Police Department.Â

The event will be held on the campus of the church and will benefit the foundation's programs such as Shop with a Hero, Emergency Services Assistance, Explorer Unit and several other programs.
Registration is $25 for the 5K Run/Walk, $10 for the kids' fun run and $10 and $15 for fire, police and EMTÂ personnel participating in the 5K run/walk.Â

The race will be followed by the annual Police Memorial Service and Spring Festival at 10 a.m at the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock.Â
