Letrise Portia Ross-Prator, 49, Loved Water Sports, Motorcycles

On Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, Mrs. Letrise Portia Ross-Prator joined her much loved brother LaNoble Marcel Ross and grandparents for a great reunion in heaven. Letrise entered this world July 25, 1967 to her proud parents that loves her dearly Ms. Erma S.”McCollough” Ross and Mr. LaNoble Almus “Noble” Ross.

On Dec. 24, 1989 joined in her life her one and only daughter Miss Brittany Alexandra whom she loves dearly. A MOTHERS’S LOVE NEVER DIES!! On Feb. 14, 2001 she was joined and partnered in her life to her loving husband, Mr. Jason Daniel Prator. Letrise graduated from Haralson County High School in Tallapoosa, Georgia.

She continued her education at Floyd Junior College, Rome, Georgia and continued to take other courses at different schools. Her passions were reading, water sports, shooting range, riding bicycles and motorcycles, skiing and decorating just to name a few. She also loves her side kick “Ted,” her teddy bear.

To cherish the loving memories of her life: daughter, Brittany Alexandra of Atlanta; loving and devoted husband, Mr. Jason Prator of Acworth; mother, Ms. Erma S. Ross of Austell; father, Mr. LaNoble “Noble” Ross of, Atlanta; brothers, Mr. Marshall (Marina) Ross of Norcross; Mr. Riakes A. (Maria) Ross of Austell; sisters, Mrs. Katrina (Ron) Brown, Miss Remonica Ware; and brothers, Mr. Jamar (Daniell) Boling, Mr. Marcus Ausby and Mr. Johnathon Sheppard.

Letrise has 2 special and loving God sons, Mr. Jorden and Eric Monroe. Letrise has her loving in–laws, her loving mother’s and father’s in law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Judy Prator and Mr. and Mrs. Larry and Janie Simpsonl grandmother, Mrs. Joy “Nana” Cline; brothers-in-law, Jeff Prator, Mr. and Mrs. John (Shannon) Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Jaime) Edmondson.

She is also survived by a loving dad, Mr. Robert Hershey; aunts and uncles, Mr. Don Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Sonny (Margie) Wurl, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny (Debbie) Prator, Mr. and Mrs. Les (Linda) Carroll, Ms. Patricia Prator, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Pam) Prator and Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Michelle) Longman; loving aunts and uncles, Miss Linda Ross, Mr. and Mrs. (Theodore) Juanita Barnett, Mr. and Mrs. John (Judy) Ross, Ms. Jo Ann Johnson (Herbert), Ms. Erdean Ross, Ms. Elanor Ross and Mrs. Shirley Ross; nephews like sons, R. Armonda Ross II, Marcel Leoni and Gabrille Ausby; and many many, special nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, classmates, school mates and co-workers.

A celebration of life service for Letrise Portia Ross-Prator will be held Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Woodstock at 11905 Highway 92 in Woodstock.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home at 1970 Eagle Drive in Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.americancancersociety.org. in memory of Letrise Portia Ross-Prator. Poole Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
