'Luxurious' Active Adult Community Coming To Woodstock

Holbrook Woodstock will include 200+ residences, 2 pools, farm to table restaurants, wine cellar, a match maker service and a travel club.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Alpharetta-based Holbrook Communities on Friday will break ground on a new active adult, mixed-use development it will construction on the east side of Woodstock.

The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 9 at 13682 Ga. 92, an area that will house the development near the foothills of Sweat Mountain. Spanning 20 acres, the company’s third Atlanta area community for active adults is expected to be completed by October 2020.

Holbrook Woodstock will deliver a slew of services for older residents who are looking to continue their active lifestyle in a "luxurious" setting. The community will be home to over 175 active living residences, 74 enriched living residences, 25 inspiration residences and 16 active living cottages.

Amenities include an indoor saltwater pool, culinary services director, farm to table restaurants open to the public, wine cellar, full service spa with saltwater pool, travel club, match maker service, small business incubation center, an exclusive sports bar, concierge physician and much more.

Each residence comes equipped with all utilities, WiFi, house cleaning and an ionization system that releases negative ions clearing the air of airborne allergens such as pollen, mold, bacteria and viruses. Once they reach the bloodstream, the negative ions increase serotonin, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress and boost daytime energy. Valet transportation is available featuring Teslas and a super charging station.
