Kaitlin Elizabeth DiCarlo of Woodstock, GA passed from this life on July 18, 2016. The daughter of Paul and Tracy (McCollum) DiCarlo was born on Dec. 10, 1992 in Atlanta, GA.

She graduated from Etowah High School in 2011.

Kaitlin’s enthusiasm and zest for life were apparent to all who knew her. Her brilliant smile and laughter were highly contagious. She enjoyed reading, playing games, listening to music, and hanging out by the lake. She was an animal lover and especially loved her cats, Bruce & Bayne, and her dog Finn. She was a fierce friend who was loved by many.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Isabel DiCarlo, and her maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Parsons.

Survivors include her parents, Paul and Tracy DiCarlo; brother, Paul DiCarlo; maternal grandmother, Margie Hollingshed; paternal grandfather, Charles DiCarlo; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held Saturday, July 30 at Lakeside Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Deacon Vic Taylor spoke at 4 p.m., and was followed by a memorial balloon release.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church in Westbury, NY.
