In Memory: Micah Humphries, 40, Amazing Father, Husband
A GoFundMe account has been created to help the family of a Woodstock man who died suddenly. He leaves behind a wife and 4 daughters.

On Monday, July 2, 2018, Micah Humphries, husband, son, and brother passed away suddenly at the age of 40 years. He was an amazing father and husband. His warm smile and caring personality will be greatly missed by everyone.
Micah was preceded in death by his mother, Susan, and older brother, Abdi. He will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend Alicia, and their precious children, Sara, Rachael, Abby and Lauren; his father, Lawrence; brothers, Jehu and Nathan; and will be forever remembered by his four nephews and extended family, mother-in-law, Mary Joan, and brother-in-law, Jeffrey and dear friends.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Lakeside Funeral Home at 121 Claremore Drive in Woodstock. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for his wife and children can be made by clicking here to donate to the Support for the Humphries family GoFundMe account. Money raised will help with burial costs and any expenses related to helping support the family. As of Friday morning, more than $16,000 had been donated towards the goal of raising $20,000.

"Micah was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him," the account states. "His wife, Alicia, lost the love of her life and best friend of 21 years. While Micah's 4 beautiful daughters, Rachel, Sara, Abby, and Lauren lost their amazing dad. Their real-life superhero. Micah was full of life and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his girls."
