Olympian Trains Chattahoochee Gold Swimmers
Micah Lawrence was a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic swim team.

Swimmers and coaches with Chattahoochee Gold swim club are excited to have Olympic swimmer Micah Lawrence coaching the team throughout October. Micah was a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic swim team.
At the 2012 summer games in London, she finished 6th in the world in the 200 meter breaststroke event. At the 2015 World Championships, she won the silver medal in 200 meter breaststroke. From 2009 to 2011, Micah swam for Auburn University.
Chattahoochee Gold owner & head coach Pat Murphy says, "It's a pleasure to have such an accomplished athlete come into the Chattahoochee Gold family. Our swimmers love her gentle nature and hearing her Olympic journey. We are very fortunate to have such a treasure on deck. "

Founded in 1992, Chattahoochee Gold is one of the first teams in the nation to be awarded Level 4 status and is one of the top 100 programs in the country. Gold trains its 800 swimmers at the Woodstock Aquatic Center, Cherokee County Aquatic Center in Holly Springs, Mountain View Aquatic Center in East Cobb and Cumming Aquatic Center.
