Project Valentine Collects Goodies For Special Needs Residents

Residents can drop off items at the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency's Recreation Building in Woodstock through Feb. 9.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency has launched its annual Project Valentine collection drive.

The agency is collecting various items at its facility in Woodstock through Feb. 9. Residents are asked to drop off lip balm, lotion, sticky notes, pens, markers, word searches, art or music activities, candy (sugar free and regular) and any holiday related items.

The items will be placed in goody bags and delivered to Empower Cherokee, a nonprofit organization that serves special needs residents in Cherokee County. Donations can be dropped off at CRPA's Recreation Center at 7545 Main Street Building 200 in Woodstock.
