River Ridge Inducts First Students Into National Technical Honor Society

The Society honors the achievements of top career and tech education students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of education.

From River Ridge HS: River Ridge High School recently inducted its first class of students into the National Technical Honor Society!

Students were invited to join based on a 95% average in Career Tech classes, as well as a 95% average in all other classes. Students had to obtain teacher recommendations and complete a personal application in order to be considered for membership.

The inaugural class of 11 students includes: Ben Adams, D’Anne Anthony, Rebecca Fulle, Shayla Joliffe, Sathvika Narasimhan, Claudia Nickell, Yagna Patel, Kelly Popp, Brooks Reynolds, Kateri Thon and Divya Velivela.

The Society honors the achievements of top career and technical education students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce.

The goal, according to NTHS, “is to see that deserving technical students be recognized and that people of the community become aware of the talents and abilities of the young people and adults who choose technical education pathways to a successful future.”
