River Ridge Student Accepts Computer Science Summer Program Invitation
Divya Velivela has been selected to attend a Computer Science Summer Program at University of North Georgia's Cyber Warrior Academy.

From River Ridge HS: A River Ridge High School freshman has been accepted to a competitive summer computer science program! Divya Velivela will attend the University of North Georgia’s Cyber Warrior Academy – one of only 40 students chosen out of a large field including upperclassmen.
The National Cyber Warrior Academy GenCyber summer camp is a 10-day, residential cyber academy in July for area high school students at the University’s Dahlonega campus, with a mission of inspiring “the next generation of cyber operations and cybersecurity professionals in the north Georgia region.”
The Academy offers students 80 hours of instructional and extension activities, including 40 hours of hands-on labs using Certified Ethical Hacker iLabs curriculum and Cybersecurity First Principles and activities such as coding in Python, Sphero robotics, Drone programming, 3D printing, car hacking, and capture-the-flag and red-team/blue-team events.
