Snow, Freezing Rain Expected Overnight In North Georgia
A hazardous weather outlook was issued for north and central Georgia as snow and light freezing rain are expected Thursday night.
NORTH GEORGIA — Light snow accumulation is possible Thursday night into Friday morning in parts of north and central Georgia.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook. Some accumulating snow and light freezing rain is expected in the higher elevations of northeast Georgia Thursday night into Friday.
Additionally, a winter storm warning has been issued through Friday evening for some accumulating snow and light freezing rain in the higher elevations of northeast Georgia. Subfreezing temperatures on Friday night could also cause slippery road conditions.

Next week, another disturbance could bring a light mix of rain and snow to portions of north Georgia for Monday into Tuesday. The National Weather Service said, "there is great uncertainty with this system so please monitor the forecast for likely changes."
