Where To Buy Live Christmas Trees Around Woodstock
Haven't picked up the centerpiece of your indoor decorations yet? Here's the scoop on where you can find one around Cherokee County.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Thanksgiving has come and gone, and many of us are in the thick of relishing the arrival of the Christmas season. While we all know quite a few people who have already put up their decorations, there are still many of us who've yet to transform our living spaces to reflect this wonderful time of the year.
The centerpiece of decorations — the Christmas tree — is just as important as the other aspects of your seasonal project. There are a few farms in and around Woodstock that could help make the centerpiece of your creation quite an attraction.
To help in that task, we have compiled a list of places selling live Christmas trees around the area:

- Fraser Firs are fresh cut, and standing in water ready for your family to choose your perfect tree. Be sure to check out the 6- or 7-foot value trees.
- Wreaths are made and decorated on site each day to ensure freshness.
- There are also custom orders for items such as wreaths, mantle sprays, door and mailbox swags, porch pots, holiday centerpieces, horsehead wreaths and memorial decorations.

- Berry Patch Farms After cutting down your tree, you will want to rest and sit on the porch eating a warm funnel cake and sip some hot apple cider. You will be given a saw to cut your own Leyland Cypress or you can choose one of the fresh pre-cut Frasier Fir trees from North Carolina.
- Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays through Dec. 9.

Hunters' Christmas Tree Farm, 14680 Wood Road, Milton; (770) 475-0713
- Hours: 9 a.m. to dusk on Saturday and 4 p.m. to dusk Monday through Friday.
- Offers hundreds of trees to choose from, including Leyland Cypress trees starting at $6 per foot and Frasier Firs starting at $9 per foot.
- Variety of wreaths, white pine garland, tree stands and supplies are also available.
- Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.
- Santa Claus visits on opening weekend and each Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- Christmas Trees from its "enchanted forest" are available 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

- 2018 season; Nov. 17 through Dec. 22;
- Tree farm hours: 3 p.m. to dark Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to dark Saturday; closed on Sunday
- A variety of trees are available for sale, including Virginia Pines, Leyland Cypresses, Fraser Firs, White Pines and Carolina Sapphires. Other Christmas-related items are also available for purchase.

- This northern Forsyth County farm expects to have more than 4,000 Christmas trees available for selection. You can either choose and cut your own or select pre-cut trees for purchase.
- Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 30 and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1-20.

- Boasts large selection of Murray Cypresses and Carolina Sapphires for you to choose from. We provide saws for cutting and helpers to shake and bail your tree free of charge.
- Each year, they bring in the freshest fresh-cut Fraser Firs North Carolina has to offer and keep them in water so they will stay fresh.
- Seasonal hours are 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
