Woodstock Farm Fresh Market Seeks 2017 Vendors

The market will run each Saturday from May to September, with a winter series scheduled to take place October through December.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Vendor application for the 2017 Woodstock Farm Fresh Market are now available to the public.

This year's market will run 8:30 a.m. to noon each Saturday from May to September, with a winter season set for October to December along Market Street in downtown Woodstock.

To be considered, produce vendors are required to grow at least 85 percent of the product they bring to the market. Produce vendors will also be subject to inspection to confirm that they are growing the required amount of produce.

"These rules were put in place to help guarantee that if you are a shopper at the Woodstock Farm Fresh Market, you can know for sure that the produce at the market is locally grown," organizers said.

2017 marks the ninth year of the farmers market in Woodstock. Bank of North Georgia will return this year as the series sponsor. Attendees can also expect to see organizers continue a partnership with the Cherokee County Farm Bureau to bring events to the market throughout the 2017 season.

Applicants are encouraged to return completed forms before March 6 to ensure their application is considered for the market.
