Woodstock Man Charged With 15 Counts Of Child Sexual Exploitation
A Woodstock man, 20, was charged with 15 counts of sexual exploitation of children after an investigation by the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.
WOODSTOCK, GA — A Woodstock man, 20, was charged with 15 counts of sexual exploitation of children after an investigation by the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.
Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Waterfront Court near Woodstock on March 3. The investigation began after detectives received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child pornography being accessed at the Woodstock home. Investigators were able to identify the suspect as Gabriel Lemay, 20.
When investigators arrived at the home, they learned Lemay had returned to the University of Georgia in Athens where he is a student. University of Georgia Police arrested Lemay on the Cherokee warrants in his dorm room, and he was transported to the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center where he remains in custody without bond.

Investigators are conducting forensic searches of computers taken from Lemay's home.
Currently, Lemay is charged with 15 counts of sexual exploitation of children. Additional charges are possible.
