Woodstock Man Sentenced For Trafficking Methamphetamine

A 57-year-old Woodstock man was sentenced after he was pulled over for a traffic stop and officers found 18 ounces of meth in his car.

WOODSTOCK, GA — A Woodstock man was arrested and pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine.

Stephen “Cajun” Littleton Reese, 57, of Woodstock, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine.

Reese was arrested on April 19, 2018, after the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop and found a large amount of methamphetamine in Reese’s vehicle. Evidence collected included more than 18.5 ounces of methamphetamine, a bottle with Oxycodone pills, a bottle with Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia, U.S. currency totaling $5,958, and a Smith & Wesson handgun.

During a hearing on Jan. 16, Judge Tony Baker sentenced Reese to 25 years to serve in prison and a fine of $1 million. Assistant District Attorney Robert Fickett prosecuted the case on behalf of the state.

“This repeat offender was poisoning our community with a dangerous drug that destroys lives,” said Cherokee County District Attorney Shannon Wallace. “This sentence protects our residents by keeping these drugs off our streets. I am thankful for the excellent work by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office and the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad in bringing this defendant to justice.”
