Woodstock Offers Music Mondays Beginning In May

Music Mondays in May will build on the established and successful Woodstock Summer Concert Series offered May through September.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- To give the citizens of Woodstock a fun musical alternative to the Monday "blues," Woodstock Parks and Recreation (WPR) has created a leisure activity at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Amphitheater (NCHA) for the four Mondays in May (actually the last Monday in April and the first three Mondays in May out of reverence for Memorial Day.)

Music Mondays in May will build on the established and successful Woodstock Summer Concert Series offered May through September and Brown Bag Concert Series every Thursday in September.

"We offered Music Mondays in May last year and folks had a great time relaxing and enjoying the music and sunshine," Director of Parks and Recreation Preston Pooser said in a release "It’s a great way to kick off the week and enjoy Spring."
