Woodstock Turkey Day 5K, Fun Run Set For Thanksgiving
Woodstock Tip Off Club will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank on race day.
WOODSTOCK, GA — Before you indulge in all the food you can eat on Thursday, join the fifth annual Turkey Day 5K and Fun Run at Woodstock High School. The event it hosted by the Woodstock Tip Off Club.
The Woodstock Tip Off Club will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank on race day.
A new course this year will be an out and back starting at the school, 2010 Towne Lake Hills South Dr., and going down the new Greenway path, then back to the school.

Event details and schedule:
- Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 7 a.m.
- Fun Run: Starts at 8 a.m.
- 5K: Starts at 8:15 a.m.
Awards will be given to the top overall male and female winners. Then top three male and female in 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ age groups will receive awards. Fun run top 10 runners will receive awards.

The race is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race Series.
In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. There will not be any refunds offered.
