As part of their construction, Walton Communities also built the first phase of Market Street, which sits just west of and runs parallel to Main Street.

Market Street is one of many streets the city of Woodstock has planned for its grid network, a set of streets that would be built on the west side of Main Street to make it easier to navigate the downtown area.
