The current pandemic’s dramatic impact on the way we connect with each other and how we access education, jobs, and services reaffirms that high-speed internet access for all is essential. To help identify Hawaii’s undeserved areas, the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) has launched an Internet Speed Map Tool that invites residents to map their home internet speeds. This map may be used to direct efforts to improve connectivity to areas of need across the State. The Internet Speed Map Tool is available at: cca.hawaii.gov/broadband/speedmap/.
