Have you ever wanted to check out a popular ebook only to discover you were way down on the list? In order to make high demand ebooks more readily available, we are launching a new “Lucky Day” collection. These popular best sellers and recent releases can be borrowed, one book per person, on a first-come, first-served basis for a loan period of 7 days through OverDrive’s Libby app or hawaii.overdrive.com/.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Using the Libby app, click on Explore and browse the “What’s Available?” offerings in HSPLS’ ebook collection. Lucky Day titles are marked with a purple clover icon.
2. Borrow your selected title using your HSPLS library card to download to your device.
3. Start reading! The list of titles change constantly as books are returned to the collection, so check back often.

All titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period (no renewals allowed) and there are never any late fees charged. If you need further assistance, call your local library.

Worried that you cannot finish a Lucky Day title in 7 days? No problem. We always keep copies available in our regular OverDrive collections where you can place a hold and still enjoy a 21 day loan period.
