UPDATE: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect wanted in connection to the murder that happened in the Waikiki area.

On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at approximately 6 p.m., HPD officers placed a 21-year-old male under arrest for second-degree murder. Charges are pending.

On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at approximately 12:38 a.m., the decedent and his friend were confronted by a group of individuals in Waikiki. An altercation ensued, at which time the decedent was stabbed with a dangerous instrument. The decedent expired at the scene due to his injuries.
