CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating witnesses and identifying the suspect(s) in a recent murder case.

On Monday, May 24, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., HPD officers responded to Paakea Road and Hakimo Road in Waianae after reports of multiple gunshots in the area. When officers arrived, they discovered a male, later identified as Jonah Ongory, lifeless and lying on the road. The victim sustained fatal gunshot wounds.Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300. The public may now send anonymous web tips to www.honolulucrimestoppers.org or via the P3 Tips app.
