Honolulu’s 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
Honolulu's traditional Fourth of July events have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
HONOLULU, HI – July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Honolulu. The Moana Ala Center canceled its 2020 Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular.
"While it was not an easy decision, it was necessary for safety concerns," said Senior Marketing Manager of Ala Moana Center Scott Creel in a statement. "Social distancing among guests would be compromised and we will not risk the well-being of our community."
