Paddling To Victory: Na Wahine O Ke Kai Juniors Champions Head To IVF Va'a
The 2016 Na Wahine O Ke Kai Juniors Champions are journeying to Tahiti for the first ever IVF Va'a World Championships

HONOLULU, CA — The 2016 Na Wahine O Ke Kai Juniors Champions have announced their chance to participate in the first IVF Va'a World Championship.
"As a result of the Na Wahine O Ke Kai Juniors Championship our young women have been invited to participate in the 1st Annual IVF Va’a World Championships in Tahiti this June," they said.
"What an honor," event coordinator Robin Lowe of Kailua said over the group's GoFundMe page. "We are so proud of our girls and want to help make it affordable for all of those attending."

According to Lowe, the ladies are currently conditioning and practicing hard to get ready for this grueling 15 mile iron man race while continuing to keep up with schoolwork and graduation requirements for many of them.
"Costs include airfare, accommodations, meals, equipment, gear,among others," Lowe said. "We are looking to raise $2000/paddler."

The GoFundMe page for the group was established for that purpose.
