Rehabilitation Work Of Pa‘akai Street Box Culvert #966 In Honolulu To Begin
The road section will be a two lane roadway during work hours with one narrower lane.

HONOLULU – The Department of Design and Construction would like to notify the public that rehabilitation work for the Pa‘akai Street box culvert #966 in Kapolei, O‘ahu is scheduled to begin on March 15 and is expected to end in June.

The project consists of demolition and spall repairs to the bridge, demolition and removal of the existing wood railing and posts on the downstream side of the bridge, and installation of new chain-link fence and posts on the downstream side of the bridge.
“No-Parking” signs have been placed at the construction site. Work hours will be 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on holidays.
