Spectrum employee Cybil Chun-Ming nominated the Hawaii Foodbank. "Giving back to my community has always been a passion of mine,” said Chun-Ming. “I’ve been supporting Hawaii Foodbank initiatives for more than 10 years and I am truly honored to have this very worthwhile organization be selected as a recipient for a Spectrum Employee Community Grant. This generous donation will be put to good use to help feed the hungry in Hawaii.”
Introduced in 2019, Spectrum Employee Community Grants provides funding to local nonprofits throughout the company’s 41-state service area. Recipients deliver critical social services, helping underserved residents meet basic needs, including food, shelter, clothing, job training and neighborhood safety. Each awardee is nominated by one of the company’s 95,000 U.S. employees who has volunteered with the organization for at least one year.
